Triangle Community Foundation is improving the quality of life in the Triangle region through grant dollars and through programs that “go beyond” grant dollars.
We understand the importance of financially supporting programs in our community. We are the largest general funder in the Triangle, making grants to address critical needs in education, human services, arts and culture, health, environment and animals, and international or foreign affairs. Last year, TCF awarded more than $14 million in grants with two-thirds staying in the Triangle region. But we see our role in the community as much more than writing a check. Now is the time for bold leadership and careful stewardship of resources.
TCF is in a unique position to provide programs that help us understand prevailing issues in our community, strengthen the impact of local nonprofits, and connect donors with causes that matter. You can help the Foundation build on this vital work. For every $1 that supports the Foundation’s work, $10 is reinvested in the community through grants, services and programs.

Our endowment exists to preserve resources for tomorrow. When you make a gift to the TCF Endowment, you contribute to a permanent fund of flexible, unrestricted dollars which TCF can apply to address a broad range of community needs as they evolve each year. Send A Kid To Camp Fund - Camp tuition assistance for local children in need
Each year, we send more than 250 children living in Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake Counties to summer camp—with the help of donors just like you. These children may be disabled, living in foster care, or otherwise unable to afford camp. YOU can give these children a summer experience to remember by making a gift.
