If you want to support causes you care about – such as the arts, education, animal welfare, health or the environment without the restriction of naming organizations – create a field-of-interest fund. The Foundation’s expert Philanthropic Services staff will identify the best nonprofit organizations that effectively accomplish your goals for a set period of time or in perpetuity. Your fund can be set up in three ways:
  • Permanent Endowment
The fund's principal is invested in perpetuity and only earnings are distributed for grants.

  • Growth Fund
The fund is invested for capital appreciation, but allows distribution of principal.

  • Pass-Through Fund
The principal is not invested and the fund anticipates principal distribution.
