- Relive your days as a camper by throwing a field day in your backyard or at a local park. Invite friends, family members, and neighbors over for a day filled with silly camp games. Ask for donations from competitors for Kickball, Dizzy Lizzy, Tug of War, and a Three-Legged-Race or use a nearby lake for canoe and kayak races. Ask everyone to bring food to grill and end the day around a campfire telling scary stories or sharing your favorite camp memories.
- Host a dinner party and tell your guests about Send A Kid To Camp and collect contributions to sponsor children.
- Clean out your closest and attic and have garage or yard sale to benefit the program. Spread the word and tell your customers about Send A Kid To Camp.
- Have a bake sale at school, work, place of worship, or community. Ask your friends to contribute by making and purchasing homemade goodies.
- Get outside and have a neighborhood car wash (if water restrictions allow). Collect donations from customers to support Send A Kid To Camp.
- Ask your friends, family, and coworkers to help you sponsor a child. Circulate emails, letters, or flyers, write personal notes, determine what would fit your audience.
- Put out a collection jar in a visible place at work and ask if your company would be willing to match any gifts made.
- Share this website and your personal reasons for giving to Send A Kid To Camp with others!
