Triangle Community Foundation’s Annual Benefit Dinner

A unique gathering of corporate, civic, religious, philanthropic, academic, and nonprofit leaders to focus on issues that matter to our region. 

Held on May 5, What Matters 2010 focused on A Diverse and Engaged Community.  Keynote speakers were nationally renowned journalists Steve and Cokie Roberts. WRAL news anchor David Crabtree served as the evening’s emcee. All proceeds from the event support TCF’s community programs that benefit the region.

What Matters Innovation Award

Each year at What Matters, TCF invests $5,000 in a local organization actively engaging in the What Matters theme.

The 2010 What Matters Innovation Award celebrated a cutting-edge organization using innovation to address our region’s growth and diversity. Our community members the winning organization through an online voting process. In total, more than 41,000 votes were cast! 

The 2010 What Matters Innovation Award winner was Kramden Institute.  Videos from all award finalists can be viewed on TCF’s YouTube Channel.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2011 What Matters Innovation Award.
