Susan Ellis Roberts Scholarship

Purpose

The Susan Ellis Roberts Scholarship was established in 2003 to annually award a Wake County graduating senior who has demonstrated a special talent in the visual or performing arts, leadership, teaching, entrepreneurship, or other creative gift.

Criteria

-High school seniors from Wake County planning to enroll as a full time student at any two- or four- year post secondary educational program or institution
-Demonstrate a creative gift in the visual arts, fine arts, leadership, teaching, entrepreneurship or other area of talent
-Demonstrates financial need

$3,000

How To Obtain An Application

One student will be nominated by a committee directed by the Arts Department Chair from each Wake County high school based on the criteria above. The student will be asked to complete an application and the top three candidates may be asked for an interview.
