iContact Foundation Scholarship

Triangle Community Foundation

Purpose

The iContact Foundation Scholarship Program of Triangle Community Foundation promotes educational advancement by offering competitive scholarship opportunities for the children (biological, adopted, step, or foster) of persons employed by iContact at any time from its creation in 2003 through February 2012.

Scholarships are for full-time students pursuing post-secondary education (two- or four-year degrees only) at any accredited college, university, community college, or trade school.  There are no limitations on area of study. 

Scholarships will be available annually between 2012 and 2042.

Criteria

  • Applicants must be children (biological, adopted, step, or foster) of W-2 employees of iContact at any time from its creation on July 2, 2003 through February 24, 2012.
  • Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be planning to graduate from high school in the year of the application.
  • Scholarships will be awarded to students planning to pursue their first post-secondary degree and enrolling full-time at a two- or four- year accredited educational institution.  Scholarships will not be awarded for graduate or post-graduate level studies.

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on demonstrated financial need, community involvement and leadership, and academic merit.  Preference will be given to graduating high school seniors or students entering the first year of their post-secondary degree.

Amount

Scholarship awards can be used for tuition and fees and will range from $1,000 to $10,000 annually, renewable for up to four years with total awards not to exceed $20,000. In order to receive renewal payments, each scholarship recipient must demonstrate ongoing community involvement and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

How To Obtain An Application

Once the application is downloaded it must be completed in Acrobat Reader by filling in the appropriate blanks.  All applications must be typed.  Please read all directions on the application form before submitting an application.
