Purpose

To provide scholarships to African American seniors graduating from Hillside High in recognition of the importance Hillside High School has played in the life of the African-American community in Durham.

Criteria

-Be African-American
-Need financial assistance to attend college
-Have a “B” average or better
-Have attended Hillside for at least two years, including senior year
-Be attending a college or university after graduating from high school
-Exhibit leadership and/or responsibility
