Purpose

An endowed scholarship created by the Beta Theta Lambda Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity to encourage young African American men to excel academically and pursue a four-year college degree.

Criteria

-Graduating senior from a Durham or Orange County High School
-African-American male
-Must demonstrate a strong determination and desire to succeed
