- Achievement Scholarship for Refugees and Immigrants of Wake County
The Achievement Scholarship for Refugees and Immigrants of Wake County will provide financial awards for refugee and immigrant high school graduates who reside in Wake County to continue their education in a post-secondary setting.

- Donald Clarke-Pearson Runners’ Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded annually to a senior varsity cross country or track athlete at East Chapel Hill High School, Chapel Hill High School, or Carrboro High School who has demonstrated the qualities of academic excellence, leadership, team spirit and dedication to running and who will be pursuing higher education after high school.

A scholarship for young persons who have received or are expecting a high school degree or equivalent and whose parent or legal guardian is an employee of Newton Instrument Company in Butner, NC.
- George H. Hitchings New Investigator Award in Health Research
Available for second year doctoral students at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
- Gertrude B. Elion Mentored Medical Student Research Award
Available for female medical students conducting research at Duke University Medical Center or the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
- GlaxoSmithKline Opportunity Scholarship
Provides scholarship assistance to residents of Durham, Orange, or Wake Counties, who have overcome significant adversity.

The Native American Health Education Fund provides financial aid to Native Americans who are pursuing careers in health related fields.
- Needham Broughton High School Alumni Association Scholarship
Available for graduating seniors from Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh, NC.
- North Carolina American Indian Fund Scholarship
The North Carolina American Indian Fund Scholarship will assist American Indian students in obtaining higher education by providing scholarships to selected applicants each year. Students pursuing a 2- or 4-year undergraduate degree as a full-time student will be eligible to receive up to $1,000 to cover the costs of tuition, fees, and textbooks. There are no restrictions on area of study or geographic location of the school the student plans to attend.
- North Carolina Hispanic College Fund
Provides scholarships annually to recent graduates of North Carolina high schools who are of Hispanic/Latino background.

- Umesh and Usha Gulati Scholarship
The Usha and Umesh Gulati scholarship will provide $1,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors from Southern High School with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Recipients will be selected based on academic merit, financial need, and an outstanding motivation for higher education success.
