Nonprofit Capacity Building & Technical Assistance

We have found that supporting a nonprofit’s capacity-building work is often one of the best investments we can make.  Triangle Community Foundation is happy to offer the following Nonprofit Capacity Building and Technical Assistance tools to nonprofits in our community:

Workshops and One-on-One Meetings:  The Foundation holds events throughout the year for nonprofits both as training opportunities and a time for networking with others.  Check our Calendar to learn more about upcoming events.  Additionally, members of the Foundation’s staff are available to provided limited one-on-one technical assistance on a variety of topics to nonprofits based in the Triangle.  Contact a member of the Philanthropic Services Staff for more information. 

Nonprofit Capacity Building Partnership: Through partnerships with capacity building organizations like Executive Service Corps and the NC Center for Nonprofits, Triangle Community Foundation enables organizations to attend conferences or receive consulting services at a reduced rate.  For more information about these programs please contact a member of the Philanthropic Services Staff. 


Meeting Space:  Located in downtown Durham’s historic American Tobacco District, the Foundation’s office has several meeting spaces that are available to nonprofit organizations and will accommodate up to 25 people. Spaces are available between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, free of charge.  Contact Gabrielle Harris at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for more information.
