Donor-Advised Funds

Over 85% of our grants are made through Donor-Advised Funds.  There is no application process for these grants; rather, fundholders advise us as to where they would like their grants made. Often, fundholders seek guidance from staff about which nonprofits are doing work matching their charitable interests. For this reason, it is important for nonprofits to keep members of our Philanthropic Services Team informed about their organizations, including special projects and funding needs.  For more information, nonprofit organizations should contact the following staff :

Reporting Requirements

Reporting requirements for grants made through donor-advised funds depend on the fundholder’s wishes. Many such grants do not require any reporting. If a report is required, we will notify organizations regarding report timeline and content when we send the grant notification letter.
