Triangle Community Foundation dedicates its mission to enhancing the lives of all residents of the Triangle now and for future generations. It addresses pressing regional needs through initiatives supported by discretionary funds. Based on regional data and recommendations from community leaders, the Foundation has developed new community programs providing support for what matters: People and Places.
Building a path to literacy, housing, health and employment
Triangle Community Foundation recognizes the importance of quality education and community support structures that will ultimately improve the lives of people in the region. Support for People will focus in the following areas:
Youth Literacy: Encouraging youth success by improving early childhood reading proficiency
Community Development: Expanding access to opportunity through comprehensive housing, health, and employment
Creating a vibrant region with diverse and robust cultural and natural resources
Triangle Community Foundation recognizes the importance of a strong cultural identity and conservation of land that will ultimately improve the lives of people in the region.
Support for Places will focus in the following areas:
Regional Cultural Identity: Strengthening the capacity of artistic and cultural organizations by providing training with a focus on regionalism
Conservation of Natural Resources: Investing in strategies to conserve land and protect green space in the Triangle
