As Community Program Officer, Robyn Schryer Fehrman manages a variety of programs that connect the Foundation with Triangle nonprofit organizations. She coordinates the Community Grantmaking Program, Triangle Gives Back initiative, and various social media projects.

Prior to joining Triangle Community Foundation, Robyn worked in the areas of program management, training and advocacy with a variety of national, regional and local nonprofit organizations, including Ipas, MDC and Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina. Additionally, she served in positions focused on community engagement within several departments of the University of North Carolina, including the Carolina Center for Public Service and Carolina Leadership Development. In 2005, she was a North Carolina Latino Health Coalition Fellow through the Center for International Understanding.

Robyn currently serves on the APPLES Service-Learning Program Advisory Board, Durham Partnership for Children’s Allocations Committee, North Carolina Conservation Network’s Advisory Council, and United Way of the Greater Triangle’s Regional Initiative Task Force . Robyn received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  In 2009, she received one of Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Leadership Awards and graduated from Leadership Triangle as a Goodmon Fellow. She is an avid runner and lives in Durham with her husband and young daughter.
